I believe the philosopher who is least correct is Immanuel Kant, as his views on morality are outdated and do not apply to today’s world. Kant believed that moral behavior stemmed from one’s duty to follow the moral law, which was based on the categorical imperative (1). He argued that if a person could not will their action to be universalized then it was immoral. While this idea of finding ethical and moral certainty in logical deductions may have been valid at the time, it does not address or even attempt to explain modern global issues such as poverty, inequality and discrimination.
