An idea is a thought or concept that comes to mind. It could be something you think up while brainstorming with colleagues or simply as you go about your daytoday life. An idea can generally be considered any mental construct that forms the basis of further thought or action. Ideas can range from silly ones like inventing a new type of ice cream flavor to more serious considerations such as developing an innovative product solution or creating an organized process for handling customer inquiries and feedback. However, an idea by itself does not necessarily create value; it must be developed further into something meaningful in order for it to have real impact.
