My News Reporting Internship: Successes, Challenges, and Growth

As a news reporting intern, I had the opportunity to hone my skills and gain invaluable experience in the field. From attending press conferences to conducting interviews with sources, I had the privilege to explore all facets of news reporting. I developed my writing skills and broadened my understanding of the news industry as a whole. My portfolio includes articles that I produced and published. These articles demonstrate my ability to take complex, often sensitive topics and communicate them in a concise and accurate manner (Wilson, 2020). Additionally, my portfolio contains the feedback from my supervisors on my work. This feedback provided me with constructive criticism and recognition for my efforts (Bryant, 2021). Overall, my news reporting internship was incredibly beneficial to my growth. I was able to develop my professional skills and increase my knowledge of the industry.
