Inter-professional Collaboration Reflective Essay

During my clinical experiences, I have had the opportunity to interact with a variety of healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and physical therapists (Jones, 2018). One of the biggest challenges we faced as an inter-professional team was coordinating our schedules and communication in order to effectively deliver care to our clients. For example, there were times when a client’s treatment plan required input from multiple professionals, and it was important that we all had a clear understanding of what was expected of us in order to avoid confusion or mistakes (Smith, 2019). Despite these challenges, I believe that inter-professional collaboration has greatly enhanced the care we are able to provide to our clients. By working together and sharing our different areas of expertise, we are able to provide a more comprehensive and well-rounded approach to healthcare (Johnson, 2020).
