If I woke up one morning and my life had turned out exactly the way I wanted it, there would be drastic changes from how it is now. For starters, my career would have taken a different path than it has currently. Instead of being in medical school which was what I always saw myself doing when I was growing up, I would be working in a job related to business strategy or computer science – something that allowed me to use both my analytical and creative sides. This change in career direction would also come with a difference in lifestyle as well – instead of living paycheck-to-paycheck like what so often happens when studying medicine, money wouldn’t be an issue anymore as I’d have more than enough coming in to support my lifestyle.

In addition to this new financial freedom, all the other aspects of my life that stem off of it would likely take a turn for the better too. With more free time due to not having such immense commitments associated with healthcare studies, family time and socialising with friends will become much easier activities for me to partake in without worrying about whether or not I should be using those hours studying instead. On top of this, hobbies such as reading books and playing video games can finally become interests again without feeling guilty about taking away from study time because work/studies no longer takes most of my day up!
