Sexual deviance is behavior that does not conform to typical social expectations of sexual activity, conduct, or orientation. It can include anything from consensual non-normative sexual activities to coercive and violent acts in the form of rape, molestation, or other forms of physical coercion. While some argue that all non-normative activities should be considered deviant, others have argued that only those which are illegal or cause harm should be considered deviant.
