Below are some questions to ask students about their views on homework. These were highlighted in Hesseberg’s 2019 journal: 1. How do you usually finish your homework?” Which methods have proven to work best? “What is your opinion on the task you have been assigned?” How do you view your time management skills? What extent do homework assignments contribute to student growth and mastery? 6. What is your attitude when you have trouble finishing homework? What extent do your students seek out assistance? How frequently do they solve their problems themselves? Are you satisfied with the amount of homework that you receive, relative to your ability level and age? Or do you find it too difficult or easy? Are you satisfied with the amount of help you receive and what do you need to complete your assignments? These are just a few examples.
