The latest trends in the workplace and career goals

According to Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, there are two major workplace trends for 2021: diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) and remote working. DEI, which is about creating an inclusive workplace culture for all employees regardless of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation or any other characteristic, is very important. It is important as it creates a positive work environment and can help attract and keep diverse talent. The COVID-19 epidemic has made remote work more popular, so it will likely continue to be a common practice even after the end of the pandemic. Remote work may have positive or negative effects depending on how they are supported by their employers. Remote work can make it more manageable for some workers to combine work with their personal lives. However, others might struggle to find the right balance.
