The idea that some societies are more morally upright than others is false. It is because moral views and principles are culturally dependent. They are formed in the context of their upbringing and are not universal (Haidt 2021). Because the moral beliefs and standards of one culture may differ from another, something considered to be moral in one country might not apply in another.
